Swing Life Away

Vision- I love the view from the grass. It's beautiful. It makes you feel like a mouse, silently watching her. (I think it's a her) Her fur poofing out gives you the perfect impression of the wind flowing through her. By the looks, this is more of an anime picture than a realistic one. Now, to start actually pointing out little mistakes. Her tail is smooth. It should be puffy. It's suppose to be fur coming out of a skinny bone. There's no flesh close to it. It just kind of poofs. You kind of made it look like a big meaty chunk. Also, on her muzzle, I don't really know what that curvy line is for, but you can keep it if you want. And the top half should be a tad smaller, and give that mass to the bottom half. I give you five stars, you perfected it in terms of anime.

Originality- This one is the lowest I will give you. To be honest, a lot of people draw wolves, especially ones with unrealistic colors. I admit I do so myself. It would have been five stars if you had chosen a unique style, but honestly, you nailed this, so don't change it. The positive part of Originality is the situation your wolf is in. I rarely see wolves running freely and singing their hearts out. I can see her running and prancing along. Also, I love the curvy hill. That's either a unique hill or a unique angle. You did that really well.

Technique- I like the anime style very much, but my specialty is slowly leaning towards realism. I wish I could do anime. I really like the way you shaded this. It was spiky to show fur, but not smudged like realism. It gave the perfect 'real but fake' touch. I see the shadow you gave her in the grass. I like it, but I think the spiky grass blades might distort it a little. Honestly, that would be impossible to show however. I love the way you did the sky. It looks so realistic. But then the anime wolf and grass contradict it. They are 'real but fake' like I said before. I really wish I could do real but fake. Also, thank you for bending the joints. This gives the impression of action.

Impact- I love this. It gives me a better outlook on life. It just seems to jump out and say 'Don't listen to anyone, and just run free and sing your heart out.' That's pretty much how I live. Freedom. This picture is amazing. It is my life illustrated, I want to say. I would love to put this as my computer background, but since I usually put my art on the background and have a reputation for it, everyone would think I drew it, and I would feel pretty bad. This is something that REALLY impacted me. Congrats.

Also, either this is a derp or just part of a crazy unique design, but her tongue is blue.
